Bernadette Bailey-Lewis oversees the dissolution services department for dms Corporate Services Ltd. Formerly, Bernadette was a Consultant with Kinetic Partners Cayman LLP where she handled the voluntary liquidations of hedge funds registered to operate in the Cayman Islands. In some instances, she was responsible for the investigation of companies’ historical affairs, determining avenues of recovery and distributions of assets.

Prior to that, Bernadette was employed with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) as a Senior Analyst in the compliance department where she conducted supervision of institutions licensed to operate in the Cayman Islands. She also advised licensees of methods and procedures to resolve non-compliance issues and recommended enforcement action when appropriate. Bernadette also worked with CIMA as a Banking Analyst in the banking supervision department.

Bernadette earned a Master’s degree in Accounting, majoring in Forensic Accounting, from the Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the International College of the Cayman Islands. She also holds the professional qualification of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
